A Spin Glass Model of Decisions in Organizations

چکیده
The paper is interdisciplinary, linking ideas from cooperative games and statistical mechanics, to decision making. Organizations and economies evolve in a process of realising potential payoffs by coalition formation in a changing landscape. Expressions are derived for the determinants of the landscape, together with a decision equation, containing potential payoffs and decision variables, that is akin to the Ising spin glass.
